What is sportti appro?
SporttiAppro is an annual sports event held in Tampere, bringing together hundreds of university students and the city’s sports venues. The event is a unique opportunity to try out four different sports of your choice, spending 30 minutes in each session. The event offers an fantastic chance to discover a new hobby and make new friends at the very beginning of the academic year.
No prior experience or personal equipment is needed for any of the sports – all you need is curiosity and a sporty attitude!
WHERE AND WHEN IS SPORTTI APPRO HELD?
Sportti Appro takes place in Tampere on 16 September 2026. The starting and finishing point is Sorsapuisto park, right next to the University of Tampere’s city centre campus.
Sportti appro ticket information
Ticket Sales: Wednesday, September 2, at 12:00 via Kide.app. Sign up for a ticket sales reminder here.
Price: €14 per ticket. You can purchase up to two tickets at the same time (for yourself and a friend) for the same starting slot and sports venues.
Starting Slots: Choose from four departure times: 11:00, 11:30, 13:00, or 13:30.
What’s Included: 4 x 30-minute sports trials with 30-minute transitions between venues. Pick one sport from each column when securing your ticket!
How to complete sportti appro?
1. Choose your sports & schedule
When buying your ticket, select your start time and the four sports you want to try. Each session lasts 30 minutes with 30 minutes reserved for transitions, making the full round roughly four hours.
2. Pick up your pass at Sorsapuisto
On Wednesday, September 16, collect your event pass at Sorsapuisto before your first scheduled session. Follow your chosen route in chronological order.
3. Just bring good vibes
No prior experience or personal equipment is required—all trials are 100% beginner-friendly. Simply wear comfortable sportswear and enjoy the day!
